Today Is A Brand New Day!

When I woke up yesterday, I had no idea that I was going to be let go from a job I had since January of 2015.

At approximately 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, I was released from SK Food Group as a result of operational restructuring. That is what the Severance agreement stated.

The departure was bittersweet. I had been considering leaving SK for a while, for many reasons, but the main reason, and the only one I can actually state is, I have been wanting to work on my own passion-based business full time.

My husband encouraged this idea as soon as he put me on his medical insurance. In fact, the only reason I started with SK was for the medical benefits.

“It wasn’t time yet” is what I kept saying. Something kept holding me back from quitting, yet I was also was getting more and more burnt out on the job. My biggest reason for the burn out, absolutely no recognition or acknowledgement what-so-ever. No incentives, no pats on the back, no reason for me to put in my best effort, just money. No reason for me to love what I do, except to receive a paycheck.

I do whole-heartedly believe that the universe brings you exactly what you need though, when you need it. And I needed a way out of SK.

I am choosing my new role as both a Life Coach and as a Minister of the Universal Church of Life, full time and whole-heartedly.
